Yesterday morning we took a new group of children from our Eagle Explorers room and headed off into the forest. They spent a lot of time learning about boundaries before heading off to explore. The main part of the session involved climbing trees and exploring the different bushes. Some of them choose to use the identification sheets to see what they could find. They also saw a Robin and a pigeon and this led to conversations about bird nests and they decided they had to be quiet when the birds were close by as they didn’t want to be too loud.
